Regally Pink celebrates the arrival of the month of May at the Royal Castle of Govone.
In recent years, this historic event has transformed into a whole month of events to celebrate spring and the charm of historical gardens enriched by the bloom of antique roses, so dear to King Carlo Felice of Savoy, who found solace and refreshment within these walls during his holiday periods.
Here is the 2024 program:
VISITS TO THE CASTLE AND THE ROYAL CHAPEL
The castle and the Holy Spirit Church (royal chapel) will be open for visits every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 to 12:30 / 15:00 to 18:00 in collaboration with the Govone Cultural Promotion Center and the Castle. Admission tickets can be purchased online or on-site.
GOVONE ART AND CONTEMPORARY
- until Sunday 26/5 photographic exhibition “Return to Deir Mar Musa. The Utopia of Father Dall’Oglio” by Ivo Saglietti curated by Tiziana Bonomo included in the castle admission ticket;
- Saturday 11.5 from 9:30 conference by Creatively Roero titled BLOC-NOTES. TRAVEL NOTES and Govone Castle Award
GOVONE SMART MUSIC
The new musical season includes three events:

- Sunday 12.5 ALBATROS ENSEMBLE TRIO – violin, flute, and piano;
- Sunday 19.5 ESTEMPORANEA TRIO – clarinet, piano, and cello;
- Sunday 26.5 TIZIANO MEALLI and ADORNO QUARTET – piano, violin, viola, and cello.
The concerts will take place in the Festival Hall of the Royal Castle of Govone starting at 17:30. Free admission until full capacity with recommended reservation via email at prenotazioni@castellorealedigovone.it indicating the number of participants.
HISTORICAL REENACTMENT with THE WAYS OF TIME
- Sunday 25.5 the halls of the castle will come alive thanks to the 18th-century historical reenactment by the Cultural Association “The Ways of Time” included in the castle admission ticket.
THE ROSE GARDEN OF KING CARLO FELICE and MARIA CRISTINA
- Every Sunday in May a dedicated guide will accompany you in the visit to the Rose Garden of King Carlo Felice. Free at 11:00, 15:30, and 16:30.
GOVONE ON STAGE
- Friday 31.5 the association BatelMan presents “Concert in the Dark – Petroleum” at La Serra venue in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele at 21:30. For reservations and costs write to info.batelman@gmail.com
DISCOVERING THE NATURALISTIC PATHS OF GOVONE
- Saturday 18.5 special cyclo-touristic guided tour exploring the 4 naturalistic paths of Govone with a visit to the castle and wine and food tasting. Meeting at 9:30 in the square in front of the Castle. Info and mandatory reservation via email at prenotazioni@castellorealedigovone.it
KIDS IN THE CASTLE!
- Saturday 18.5 back by popular demand are the FREE ANIMATED VISITS in collaboration with the association “TempoXte” where children can have fun in the rooms of the castle with mysterious characters; personalize their souvenir postcard with a special stamp; create a unique rose and receive a little gift all for themselves. Three visit times scheduled: 11:00 – 15:00 and 16:30. Groups will be composed of min. 5 to max 20 children aged between 5 and 10 years old.

- Sunday 19.5 THE TIME OF THE ROSE outdoor art exhibition in the Rose Garden. The displayed works are created by children and young people from 6 to 11 years who participated in the project “Artedì” organized by the RdR Association and curated by Francesca Cuniberto
- Saturday 25.5 at 16:00 BORN TO READ initiative organized in collaboration with the Popular Library of Govone with readings for children in the most picturesque corners of the castle park. Participation is free and open.
