SCHOOLS IN THE CASTLE

ORGANIZE YOUR EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY IN GOVONE

Thanks to the collaboration with some associations in Govone that have been working in the area for years, such as TempoXTe, Nati per Leggere, and La Collina degli Elfi, we offer educational activities and programs for schools, children, and teenagers with the aim of promoting the cultural, historical, and associative heritage of our country.

The Royal Castle of Govone is part of the circuit of the Savoy Royal Residences, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997. The character and identity of the castle are unique in the panorama of residences. Exploring its spaces is a true journey through time, from the 18th century to the present day, filled with different historical and artistic inspirations.

We care deeply about the new generations discovering this heritage, involving them and speaking their language in the hope of transmitting passion and interest to them. For this reason, we have designed a series of activities suitable for children of school age.

The enhancement projects of the underground areas also include the creation of new laboratory and educational spaces.

ANIMATED TOURS AND EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS

Children will be able to visit the Royal Castle of Govone with an interactive guide suitable for their age group.

Along the way, there will be moments when they can listen to audio, solve quizzes, and play games. At the end of the visit, a creative and educational workshop will provide room for their imagination, either inside or outside the Castle, depending on weather conditions.

cARToline da Govone, Tullipasseggiate, Rose, are just some of the proposed activities.

In addition to the animated castle tour, it will be possible to combine educational workshops at La Collina degli Elfi, with the aim of learning and experimenting, including through playing with animals, using different methods and new influences to arouse curiosity and many emotions.

    Govone extends beyond my walls. It is an entire community that takes care of the magnificent places it inhabits. I invite you to explore everything that surrounds me: the park and the gardens, the greenhouse, the intimate rose garden, the village, and the outdoor trails immersed in nature, which you can explore on foot or by bike.

    The park, inhabited by squirrels, woodpeckers, jays, embraces the castle all around with its hedges of boxwood, beech trees, elms, and cypresses.

    The gardens gather and showcase Maria Cristina's passion for botany, particularly for roses, displaying various splendid antique varieties.

    The historic center extends the visit beyond the castle walls, revealing the authenticity of a village that, while continuing to live, preserves its memory.

    The trails lead you along the edges of the constellation of which the castle is the protagonist, through fields, vineyards, and hazelnut groves, allowing you to discover the land.
